This policy explains what information Goggle Marks collects, why, and what we do with it. We've tried to keep it short and plain. Questions go to [EMAIL].
Goggle Marks is run by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME OR OWNER NAME], [BUSINESS ADDRESS].
A note about minors
Many of the swimmers we write about are under 18. Our site, newsletter, and products are meant for parents and legal guardians. The Path Review intake form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian, not by the swimmer. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [EMAIL] and we'll delete it. [ATTORNEY TO REVIEW COPPA AND STATE MINOR PRIVACY RULES]
What we collect
Parent or guardian contact info. Your name and email address, so we can deliver your review and reply to you.
Intake form info about the swimmer. Your swimmer's age or graduation year, events and best times, links to public results, a grades range, your goals, your questions, and your email. We don't ask for a date of birth, address, phone number, or Social Security number. Please only share what you're comfortable with. You don't need to send health information, and we ask that you don't.
Newsletter email. If you sign up for The Goggle Marks Weekly, we collect your email address.
Payment info. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and basic details like your name and email, but we don't see or store your full card number.
Call info. If you book the 45 minute Path Plan call, we receive the booking details through [SCHEDULING TOOL]. We don't record calls.
Website info. [CONFIRM WHETHER THE SITE USES ANALYTICS OR COOKIES, and which tools. If none, say so.]
How we use it
To write and deliver the Path Review you bought. To answer your questions and schedule your call, if your tier includes one. To send The Goggle Marks Weekly, if you signed up. To process payments and keep basic business records. To ask for feedback. We only quote someone publicly with their written permission, and we never use a swimmer's name or times publicly without it.
What we don't do
We don't sell your information or your swimmer's information. Ever. We don't share it with college coaches, schools, clubs, or recruiting services. We don't use it for ads from other companies.
Who else handles it
We use a few service providers to run the business. They only get what they need to do their job.
Newsletter: Buttondown. Payment processor: Stripe. Intake form processor: Tally. Scheduling: [SCHEDULING TOOL]. Website host: Cloudflare Pages.
We may also share information if the law requires it. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM WORDING]
How long we keep it
We delete intake data 12 months after we deliver your review. Payment records are held by Stripe, and we keep basic receipts as long as tax rules require.
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you or your swimmer. Email [EMAIL] with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll reply within 10 business days. Some records, like payment records, may need to be kept for a set time for tax or legal reasons. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS THAT APPLY]
How we protect it
We use reputable service providers and keep access limited to the person writing your review. We use two-factor login on our business accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send anything you'd be upset to lose, like Social Security numbers or medical records. We'll never ask for them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM WHETHER EMAIL NOTICE IS NEEDED FOR CHANGES]
